This policy explains how The Alleviator collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website.
Information you give us
- Contact forms: We collect your name, contact details, and message. Your submission goes to our team by email so we can respond to your request.
- Chat: We collect the messages you type. If you choose to share them, we also collect your name, email address, phone number, address, and details about the work you need. Your messages and details go to our team so we can follow up.
- Shopping: Our shop keeps your shopping cart and order details while you shop.
Your card payment information is processed by a payment processor or the shop checkout. We do not store full card numbers.
Our chat assistant uses Anthropic's AI service to generate replies. Your chat messages are processed through that service. We and our marketing agency, AQ Marketing, keep your chat transcript and any details you provide.
Information collected automatically
When you use our website, we collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and time on the site. Our hosting provider processes standard request data, including IP addresses in server logs. Gauges counts page views for hosting-level statistics. Google Analytics 4 measures how you find and use the website, including pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser type, so we can improve it.
Who receives information and why
The providers listed below receive or process information to host and deliver the website, measure website use, filter spam, protect the site and forms, provide fonts and embedded content, support shopping and chat, and remember your cookie choices. Our marketing agency and its AI service also process chat information as described above. Payment information is handled by a payment processor or the shop checkout as described above.
Akismet receives what you submit in a form, along with your IP address and browser details, to check for spam. hCaptcha receives your IP address and browser details to check that submissions come from a person. Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details to protect the website and help deliver pages.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
